            Are you an English learner? Here, I want to give my opinion about skills in learning English. There are four skills in learning English as if writing, listening, speaking, and reading. Based on www.masterportal.eu, listening and reading are known as receptive skills then, speaking and writing are known as productive skills. All language learners will need to develop their skills especially in learning English. When we use the four skills in learning English, sometimes we find some difficulties and problems. Although some people think that writing is the most difficult skill in learning English, I believe that there are other skills that must be considered too.

            Writing is more difficult than speaking in learning English. According to Tarigan (1985:5) writing is a productive skill for indirect communication and the nature of the character is very different with speaking which is a direct communication. For example, when we write text, essay, literary work or so on, we have to pay attention in a lot of rules as if using grammar, vocabulary, punctuation, and so on. It is very difficult for some students who are not understand about the grammar in English. However, we can search unknown vocabularies in dictionary and we can know grammar that is used in writing from English reference books which is impossible when we are speaking English. When we speak English, we have no time to search word by word in dictionary continuously. If we have lack of vocabularies in English, we will be difficult to speak English. Besides, we have to be able pronounce word by word correctly in order to make the others understand what we are talking about.

Writing is more difficult than reading in learning English. According to Harmer (2001:79) writing is a form of comunication to deliver idea or to express feeling through written form. Some students difficult to write something by using appropiate grammar. Sometimes they need more time to think the idea, grammar, vocabularies, and so on. On the other hand, reading needs more aspects than writing. Based on www.speechlanguage-resources.com, it is important to comprehend an author’s message when we are reading a text. In reading, we will find multiple meaning or more of the word that makes we missunderstand if we are not be able to interpret the correct meaning of the text.

            Writing is more difficult than listening in learning English. According to Jonah (2006:29) argues that writing can be used as an indirect means of communication to others to convey an information. Some students difficult to write because in writing should be able to give an idea or ideas to the reader through writing. They can create an idea or ideas by getting inspiration from others. They have to use their own words to avoid plagiarism. On the other hand, listening is an ability to identify and understand what others are talking about. It needs understanding a speaker’s accent, pronunciation, grammar, vocabularies, and gasping the meaning (Howatt and Dakin). It means that we have to listen based on what we have heard before, differs with writing because we can create our own ideas not based on the others have written before. In writing is free to write anything based on our idea, but in listening we have to pay attention first on what we have heard before in order to respond it. It makes listening becomes the most difficult skill in learning English.

                        In conclusion, writing is not the most difficult skill in learning English because there are other skills that must be considered too. There are four skills in learning English as if writing, listening, speaking, and reading. Each skill has their own aspects to develop skill in learning English. From the explanation above, I conclude that listening is the most difficult skill in learning English. It needs more aspects to develop skill in learning English than writing.

The Most Difficult Skill in English is Writing, is it True ?

When we listen about writing, what is on your mind ? Maybe writing is a fun activity for some people. Many people do writing  for their creation on what is on their mind.  As an example, when we was for example when we are happy, sad or confused, a lot of us who explained about our feelings through writing and we call it as a diary.  But on the other side, people think that writing is the most difficult skill in English. Why? Because in English there are for skills that should be learn, such as Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing. In this way, the last aspect of English skill that should we learn is writing. Besides, in writing we must mastering various rules such as good diction, grammar rules, accurate punctuation, spelling, good range of sentence structures and etc.

Many people said that writing is an easy thing. According to Klein (1985), writing is the ability to put pen and paper to express ideas through symbols, this way, representations on the paper will have meaning and content that could be communicated to other people by the writer. I think it is not an easy thing, to express the idea in writing it is not easy things. That is because we should consider about the coherence and cohesion of the text to make a hook and make the readers easy to understand.

On the other side, in writing English also many things that must be consider, such as what I said before in the rules of writing English we must focus on grammar, punctuation, spelling, and also good range of sentence structures and etc. Certainly, it is not an easy things for a non native to write in English. They must choose what tenses that can be used. In this condition, certainly they need a big effort to more practice in writing in order to make their skill in writing better.

However, if we want to write or make a  good writing we have to read more and looks  for various articles. An author must have many knowledges and also write a good and interesting idea in order to make the readers interested to read their paper. In writing English vocabulary is also very important because it can help us to develop our writing skill. Not only that but also we must have a lot of vocabulary in English to decided the right diction words.

In conclusion, I agree if writing the most difficult skill in English. It is because writing as the last aspect that should be learn after Listening, Speaking, Reading.  Many things that should be consider in writing English. We are not only focus in grammar, but we must also mastering vocabulary, punctuation, and spelling for make the great writing. But writing will be easier if we want to practice. Hopefully, we can mastering the writing with practice and pay attention in the  grammar rules.

            In general, learning English as a foreign language is difficult. There are four skills that we need to master English as if listening, speaking, writing and reading. Each skill exactly has some difficulties to be learnt, but some people argued that the difficult skill is writing. Is writing difficult or not? Here, we will discuss about it.

            Writing can be difficult thing for many people. The main problem that has to be faced in writing actually is the topic. Many people often feel confused to choose topic and develop their ideas become a good writing. In the past, I had ever thought that it is right that the main problem is the topic. After I tried to write continuously, I realized that it did not become a big problem in writing. Actually, we can use many references from the books or internet. We can also observe cases around us to be used as the topic in our writing.

            The other thing that makes writing is difficult for many people are in the rules of grammar include spelling, punctuation and many more. They are usually confused to use it. Actually, it is easy when we understand and have become accustomed write. We must pay attention that writing is in stages. We can make outline first and write the first draft. We exactly have a mistake, right? It is not a problem because we can check and revise our writing before we publish and let readers read it.

            Once more that makes writing is difficult when we write on the under pressure. Many people failed in writing because they did not relax when they wrote. We do not be confused and panic. It makes they cannot find ideas and exactly they cannot develop their ideas and compose words to make a good writing. We have to make an outline in order to the idea that turn up in our mind are not lost.

            Do you still consider that writing is difficult? Writing is easy when we enjoy to write. Writing is one of important skill that we have to master in learning language. We can master other skill if writing is conquered. Writing is also the way to make we are known by many people. If our writing are good and can be published in a newspaper, we can get money.  Therefore, let's write everything in our life. We can be a rich people by writing.

Writing is Difficult and Fun

English basic skill is devided into four: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Both of them are important skill and connect each other. Writing is said to be the most difficult skill from all for student. When you want to write something, you have to watch the grammatical structure, punctuation, etc. Writing can be use in various thing, such as writing assignment, write the story, write the diary and many other thing.

The first problem of writing for students is that they usually do not know what they have to write. Decide the topic to write is very important in writing. Find a good topic of what you want to write. After decide the main topic, develop your writing with search various data from books or internet. If you find difficulty to develop your writing, you can ask to your teacher or your friend.

The next difficulty for student is they sometimes have mistake writing mistakes. The most common mistake when students write is grammatical error. To resolve that problem, the students have to learn more about grammar. You can told your friend to correcting your writing. Read more English language book also good way to learn about the correct grammatical structure.

To write an interesting writing you need an interesting idea too. One of the most interesting writing is about our self experience. Just thing what experiences that you think good to develop to be an interesting writing. You have to make your writing become not boring to read. If your writing is good you can bring it to publisher so your writing can be published.

The main problem for student to write is their desire to write something. Some people think that writing is not interesting or boring. Actually Writing can be fun activity to do. We can use writing to express our self. All we need is practice and practice to make our writing interesting.

                   The Difficult of Learning English

              English has become the International language. it has been studied in many countries. Although, there are still many people who have not mastered it. Both in terms of writimg, pronounciation, etc. I also felt some difficulty in learning the language, especially in terms of writing.

                      The most difficult thing that I feel in writing English is Grammatical. Grammar is one of the basic rules of English writing. Changes in words and sentences concerning the past, present, and future as well as singular or plural and much more must be made carefully. Grammar has 2 different styles, they are American English and British English. Both of them has their own rule that must be understood. 

                     The second one is vocabulary. There are a lot of vocabulary to be in recognized. Lack mastery of the vocabularies makes it harder to learn English. The more that you can acquire the better your writing too. In this case that can help us is dictionary.

                    Other reason why English so difficult to learn its many types of text that should be understood. There are recount, narrative, descriptive, procedure, report, and many other. Each text has a different purpose and structure. We must be able to distinguish the texts. All of the text have their own differences.

                 Writing is one of the skill that must be mastered. Writing has difficult things such as, grammatical, vocabulary, ditinguish the types of text, etc. However, if we often practice to write we wilk begin to get used to. We must more pay attention in the rule of writing. Therefore, we must never stop to learn English especially in writing because effort never betrayed the results.

Friend is someone who will be on your side. Every people need a friend to share their feelings, their problem, and also we can chit chat to removing the load that we feel right now. But, friendship need a promise, honesty, trust and so on. Sometimes friend can make happy in our live. But, not all friend make we happy sometimes, friend who not have a trust can make our friendship not good.

The people said that the most important element in a friendship is a trust. They think that a true friend involves relationship. Trust is essential to a true friend. We all need someone who can share our feelings, thoughts, lives and many other. But, we can to be able to share our deepest with someone, without worrying that those secret will be up on the next day.

They are reason in my opinion why friendship need a trust. First, we can sharing our secret without worries that the secret will be up in the next day, but the friend who has not a trust they can revealed our ugliness to other people. Second, we can tell about lives with comfortable and safety. The third, when the friendship has a trust we can chat or laughing or we can each mocking there is no awkward anymore. I think like that because it is in my experience with my friends.

However, people think that trust is very important part in friendship. Without trust friendship do not have any meaning. When we have a friend that they have not trust and honesty it is not good to be a good friend because a true friend must have two criteria that is trust and honesty. With it we can tell which friend is good and which friend is not good. We must also be able to believe in our friend.

            From the text above, I agree with the statement “The Important Element in a Friendship is a Trust”. Because trust can beat of selfishness and can make our friendship more tightly. Than friends need to tell each other the truth and to count on each other there has to be trust. After that, a good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget. Making a million friends is not a miracle. JJJ

The True Friendship

Friend is a person who always be there for us. When we have a problem or we have a good things in our life. Friend will always taking care of us. They will treat us as good as they can. It is not because they need something from us, but that is because the purity of their heart about friendship. The true friendship will never cheat us. Then what is the most important element in a friendship ? . I think that is trust, and what the reason that make trust become most important ?

First, how we can make a relation with person if we do not trust them. We have to trust our friend for all the things. A relation with friend will not be able to be good without a trust. Based on my experience, if there is no trust in a friendship it will make a bad relation between one friend to another friends. That problem also can appear the hostility.

Second, friend is a person who will keep all of our secret. For example, when we have a problem and we need someone who can listen all of our problem, surely we will talk to our friend. Whereas, not every problem can easily known or told to other people. Sometimes, there is a things or problem where we can just only tell to other people who we can trust. In this case, trust become an important thing in a friendship.

Then, when we grow up and have to work. We want to build our own business, surely we need a partner for that. We can ask our friend to join with us. But, we need our friend that we can really trust on them. Not for them, who will cheat us. So, in that case the trust in a friendship be the most important part again.

From that statement above, we can conclude that in a friendship the most important is trust. Although, some people think that friend just a friend. But, actually when we want to trust someone we have to know and understand about all the things of our friends. In a friendship except trust, love is also the important thing.

The Difficult Things in Writing

Writing is a lesson that almost learnt by students. In English course, writing is important lesson which is use for exploring student’s opinion to write in a work. To write a good topic or opinions, they have to mastering some aspects, such as decides the topic, vocabularies that we  used, grammatical and so on. Students have to try make a good writing to make the readers can understand what they write. However, sometimes students find some difficult things when they writing something. Therefore, is writing difficult for students ?

                First, I as student surely know about what is writing. In my study, I always write something about my opinion, essay, and so on. However, I always find difficult thing when I write something. Based on my experience, I always feel difficult to decide a topic. I need a long time to decide a topic. Of course, it is one of difficult thing in writing and becomes my problem in writing.

            Second is about the vocabularies. Most of my friends have no much knowledge in  vocabularies. Based on my survey in my classroom, most of my friends using a dictionary while they writing. They very depend on their dictionary, actually electronic dictionary. They always check vocabularies in their dictionary frequently. It proves that writing is difficult course for them.

            Third is about grammatical. Grammatical is a important thing in a writing. As the students, they have to mastering the grammar to make perfect sentence. It is become a difficult thing in writing. Why ? I will give a evidence. In my class, most of my friends do many mistakes in their writing, especially in their grammar. Of course, it makes their writing not perfect. Sometimes, the mistake in grammar can changes the meanings. Surely, it can make the readers confuse to understand what they write.  Therefore, I think the students have to learn grammar more to make a good writing.

            From that statements above, we can conclude that writing has difficult things such as, decides the topic, vocabularies and grammatical. Although that things are difficult for students, however hopefully they can learn and pay more attention from three aspects to make perfect writing. Another else is make sure the readers understands about what we write. In addition, we hope all of student can be a good writer in the future.
