Don’t You Think That Writing is Difficult?

English is important for us because it becomes an international language. We as an Indonesian people also have to learn English whether as the second language or foreign language.When you learn about English, you must learn about the four skills which are listening, reading, speaking and writing. All of the four skills are important and have some difficulties. However, many people think that writing is the most difficult skill in English.

            Producing a writing is not easy and simple because it is also not easy to generate an idea. Generating idea maybe will take a long time. You must think hard about what you will write. It shows that writing is not an instant product. You also have to do a research to support our idea. What I mean with research is collecting knowledge and information that are related to the topic of your writing.

            After you get an idea and information, you will be faced with more difficult task. You should integrate our idea and the information that you have got into sentences. In this section, you as a writer need to think harder. You have to create sentences, then integrate them into a beautiful paragraph, so it will be a good text. You do not only make a text but also make the readers understand our message in our text.

            In order to make the readers understand the message of our writing, you should pay attention with the sentence structure. A writer have to master the sentence structure or grammar. Grammar is important because when your grammar is mess it will create a different message. Then, the readers will have a wrong interpretation of your writing and it can make a bad or good impact to the readers. It means that a writing have a big effect to the readers.

            Writing is one of the four important skills in English. However, writing is the most difficult skill because it has some difficult aspects. You should generating idea before making a writing. Then, you have to produce sentences and paragraph based on your idea and also information related to the idea. However, you also have to master grammar to produce a good sentence. A writing can influence the readers, so you have to be careful in writing your idea because it can be good or bad to the readers.
