TRUST

The Most Important Element of Friendship

Most people in this world are not alone, because humans are the social beings.It means that they have their needs and the ability to communicate with others. Beside family, humans need friends to share their story. They have friends in their surrounding. Friendship is the term to describe the behavior of cooperating and encouraging between two or more entites social.Friendship has the elements to strengthen that. The most important element in a friendship is trust.

Some people sometimes do not need some elements on their friendship and they said that friends just for fun and no need to think about their friends’ feeling. Those are not proper in the friendship because I think that friendship is not about how we can have fun with our friends and just hang out into somewhere to waste the time with useless thing. Friendship is about how we can solve the problem with someone or more that we can be trusted. That is why trust is the most important element in a friendship. If we just be friend with someone who only wants to have fun, it will not make a trust because people regard that their friends have no purpose and we cannot develop to be good person.

On the other hand, another people said that friends is they who can be their bag of money. Therefore, it is not at least people that have friends because of their money. Some people just need their friends’ money for lunch or buying something. They think a trust is not really important for their friendship because money is more important. We know that is not right because it can make someone become dependent to your money. You can encourage them to work and they can earn money. Encouraging someone is the one form of trust. They can comfort in the friendship because of encouragement.

Good friendship is the way we can respect to another point of view. Sometimes our friends have some opinion that different with ours. Nevertheless, as long as we trust with our friends it would not be a breaker of friendship. Beside, we have to understand and care about each other. Those are the another important elements in the friendship.

In conclusion, trust is the most prominent element in a friendship. Trust can be branched out in all directions of goodness in a friendship, we can assuming a trust as a tree trunk and the goodness of it is the branch. People cannot live alone, thus they need another to be a friend of them. Remember that friendship needs some elements of goodness if you want it immortal. Finally, I want to quote from William Penn about friendship, he said “A true friend freely, advises justly, assists readily, adventures boldly, takes all patiently, defends courageously, and continues a friend unchangeably.”
